Frequently asked questions
As soon as we have come to an agreement about the portrait specifications, I will give you a possible starting date. To reserve this spot on the planning I ask for a 30% deposit.
The waiting time depends on my current workload. If you need a portrait for a specific date then please let me know and I will see if I can fit you in to have your portrait completed on time.
You will be contacted before I start your portrait so you know when to keep an eye out on social media for regular updates and progress of your portrait. Please let me know in advance if you would not like the progress photos to be shown on social media to keep the surprise.
Once the portrait is finished I will email you a photo of the completed work for your final approval. When all is approved, I will send you the final invoice including the postage cost and when that is paid your portrait will be sent off.
I will forward you the track & trace link by email or Messenger.

Framing is a personal choice and depends on your home interior so I will leave the framing to you when you receive your portrait. Also for practical reasons, glass could shatter in transport and cause damage, the artwork is not framed.
Artwork has been created using the highest quality pencils and paper available. When taking care of art created on paper here are a few points specifically for preserving your artwork:
Keep your artwork out of direct sunlight. If exposed to extreme heat or sunlight over long periods of time, paper can become brittle and reach a point where it simply crumbles to the touch.
Frame under non-glare glass, treated with a coating to protect the work from UV sunlight if possible. This not only protects your artwork from sunlight, the non-glare glass makes it easier to see the artwork surface when it is displayed.
The mat and backing of your frame should be made of acid-free paper and finished with acid-free tape. This is to avoid any moisture reaching your painting and damaging it.
